![]() ![]() someone else deserves credit and a big thanks from me. My game got to the point playing was miserable(sp? who cares). This could be either related to my computer or to some bug in the game. It really prevents me from doing anything in this game and, therefore, really irks me that I can't play one of my favorite games! Thoughts on what to do next? This is still happening to me with the most recent update and I don't know how to fix it. However, not too long ago, a new build came out and made everything that I did in town or out in a mission extremely laggy. Цитата допису ThePerson12:I love Darkest Dungeon with all of my heart. All that I know is that my cpu usage is not going past 20% for the majority of the time. Darkest dungeon seems to be running a bit more smoothly with faster running times but the lag is still too noticable to be able to do anything in the Hamlet. I shall try this ASAP.ĮDIT: It appears that my CPU usage is pretty low before starting DD, but changes periodically to over 15% for one tick but later goes back down to 1%. Thanks! My computer is also not one of the bests but it is still functional. Overall, while I think it's possible that DD itself is part of the problem, I came to the conclusion it's mostly my system. Цитата допису dlmcelroy0:I have suffered this, off an on, as well. Sometimes I just have to let the OS do whatever it's going to do and not start until it's settled down. I googled the typical sort of thing about crummy pc/windows performance, and shut off a few background services that are known to be hogs. In general, if either disk or cpu is over about 20%, it's not worth playing. I don't know what's doing it because MS has just bundled it all into a 'System' black-box service. Pretty much any disk usage level over about 10%, and DD starts to lag. ![]() MS Mystery system services can spike the disk usage.Worst I saw it it was grabbing 1.5 GB of memory. If you leave your system running without shutting down periodically, it can really build up. If the antivirus is actively running a scan or updating, then DD crawls. ![]() Overall, while I think it's possible that DD itself is part of the problem, I came to the conclusion it's mostly my system.Ģ year old windows 8 laptop, nothing special, but nothing terrible either. I have suffered this, off an on, as well. ![]()
